BUENO Environmental Policy, which also will guide the activities of its subcontractors, is based on the following:

 -   Comply with environmental legislation at the Federal, State and Municipal.

 -   Implement actions in the area of Environment aiming at preserving affected ecosystems, by giving ordinary and extraordinary presentations, besides campaigns to raise awareness about recycling, conservation of fauna & flora, etc.

 -   Ensure effective management to prevent human and economic costs resulting from environmental non-compliances.

 -   Identify needs and provide specific training in the area of environment, such as Code of Conduct, spill prevention, etc to ensure the capacitating of personnel involved.

 -   Run production activities acting preventively, integrating actions to protect the humans, the environment and patrimony.

 - Anticipate the possible environmental issues through the correct definition of significant environmental impacts arising from the activities to be performed.

 -   Ensure proper standards of safety and health to employees.

 -   Disseminate information about potential risks of their activities, as well as contingency plans for emergencies.

 - Adopt methods and construction processes that minimize risks, gas emissions, liquid effluents and solid waste, performing activities with the least possible consumption of energy, water and other natural resources.

 -   Require that these principles and guidelines are the basis for the actions of subcontractors.

 - Ensure that all participants in the project, including subcontractors, through its managers and employees, take responsibility for the functions of the Environment and Security, and that their conduct will be given under this Plan.
